First of all, we are all sinners. You and I. we've all messed up. Would you agree? Romans 3:23

Sin isn't just blatant wrongdoing like murder, stealing or adultery. Sin can be simply ignoring God, excluding Him from your life.

Sin separates us from God. The bible says because of our sin we deserve physical and spiritual death. Spiritual death means we deserve to spend eternity separated from God in a place called hell. Romans 6:23

Now, you might be thinking, "I'm not that bad. I'm better than most people."

Here's the problem: God is perfect. In the eyes of a holy, sin-less God, we have all missed the mark. The standard is perfection. With such a high standard, we can't save ourselves. No matter how hard we try, we can't be good enough.

Fortunately, God planned an alternative for us.
