Who is Jesus? ...

Are you a New Christian?

Bill Hybels and Mark Mittelberg in their book, "Becoming a Contagious Christian", say: "We've got to help people understand that God isn't angry or afraid of honest doubt from those who are trying to discover the truth about Him. In fact, He warmly invites any and all who have sincere questions to come, to seek, and to ask, because He wants to help them clear up the haze. With disarming deference to our human tendency to doubt, Jesus simply says, 'Touch me. Do whatever it takes in order to find out I'm real.'"

What are your barriers to belief? Are you ready to embark on a spiritual journey? Before you hit the road, remember these tactics:

Commitment
Resolve to a time and energy investment. Approach the project with honesty and openness. Try to define what your specific sticky points are.

Friend
Seek out a friend. Do you have a respected "spiritual friend" who could mentor you, provide direction and objectivity?

Resources
Get your hands on books, tapes, articles, web sites —Any resource or tool that might provide answers or help clarify uncertainty.

And remember, you are located at an excellent starting point —Growthtrac!
