What is Podcasting? Podcasts are audio broadcasts created and stored digitally on the Internet. Instead of being broadcast over the airwaves once and lost, like with traditional radio, podcasts were created to be stored and played at the user's convenience. Think of them as radio shows waiting to be downloaded. There are currently thousands of podcasts available covering everything from automobiles to rock 'n roll, and of course, the messages from Growthtrac!

How much does it cost?
Nothing!

Overview
Podcasting is a way to receive audio files over the Internet by using feeds to deliver the audio broadcasts directly to your desktop. You can listen to the files on your computer or load them on your MP3 player and take them with you. Twelve percent of Internet users have downloaded a podcast, according to a Pew survey from November 2006; up from 7 percent in their February to April survey.

Do I need an iPod? (No!)
No, you can use your computer or any other MP3 player. Podcast receivers such as the FREE iPodder program are platform-independent, so you can use them from virtually any computer and play the files on any MP3 device or from your PC's desktop. If you have an mp3 player, you can set up iPodder to put the audio files directly on your player.

What if I have an iPod?
Podcasting couldn't be easier if you have an iPod. Using Apple's iTunes software, you can subscribe to our Podcast and as long as your iPod is connected to your PC or when you do connect your iPod to your PC, iTunes will automatically copy our latest Podcasts directly to your iPod!
