Reflection #2 on 'Following You'

In the song "Following You," Jadon Lavik sings that he will
follow the Lord. The lyrics declare:
This world has so much more clarity
With You walkin' right in front of me.
 When
we follow the Lord, when we read and study His Word to know
His ways, and then purpose to follow those ways, we follow
a path of peace-peace with God and with each other.
"But if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light,
we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus
His Son cleanses us from all sin" (1 John 1:7 NASB).
And that path is promised to grow even clearer to us as we
move along.
"But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn,
That shines brighter and brighter until the full day" (Proverbs
4:18 NASB).
I know sometimes it is hard to know what to do. We get in
situations where others, sometimes even Christians, fail to
do the right thing. We get confused. We want to do the right
thing, but we also want to protect ourselves and others. The
way of the cross, however, is always the way of humility.
And God has promised us that when we seek His ways, He will
guide us.
Whatever you are facing today, or whatever you may face tomorrow,
you can make it through. And you can have lasting victory
in the "path of the righteous," those who seek to follow Him.
Commit yourself to follow Him, even when the path seems dark.
Remember the light is going to shine forth sooner or later
if we follow Him. Join Jadon and sing your declaration:
