While
listening to audio clips on Growthtrac, here's how
to stop the tick sound on each refresh.
This solution will disable the sound event in Windows.
(this will stop the refresh sound only — other sounds
will not be affected). Here's how: |

Go
to your START menu located at the lower left corner of
your screen. After clicking and holding on the START button,
a menu should pop up. |

Select
the Settings option. Another window should pop out to
the side. |
|
Select
the Control Panel. This should open up the Control panel
window. |
|
In
the Control panel window, double click the Sounds and
Multimedia option. This will open up the Sounds and Multimedia
Properties window. |

Use the scroll
bar to go about two-thirds of the way down the Sound Events
list until you come to the Start Navigation setting. Click
on the Start Navigation setting to highlight it. |

With the Start
Navigation setting highlighted, move the mouse cursor
to the Name list and click on the (None) setting, which
should be at the very top of the list. |

Click the OK button
to finalize your new setting. |
