We gotten used to the Star Wars concepts of good and evil; that evil is a dark force. Evil is not a force like the wind or rain. Man was born with an inclination for evil. We are more interested in the negative than the positive. We're more interested in the bad stories we hear about people, and pass over information which corrects the bad.
GE 8:21
"Never again will I curse the ground because of man, even though every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood.
Evil is in man's nature, satan just exploits it. Evil is the action, which is the result of our thoughts. Only with the Holy Spirit's help can we move towards his good nature for us. |
