What is a miracle?
Any answer to pray, any divine operation, any supernatural work, i.e. someone coming to Christ and accepting? Anything amazing or extraordinary; some call the birth of a baby a miracle. Are miracles ordinary or extraordinary? |

| This I believe is a matter of opinion. Although I have given birth 3 times, and am getting ready for my 4th, I do not believe childbirth is a miracle. Sorry. It is beautiful, bringing a new life into the world, but a miracle? It is a product of an everyday, normal human action...sex. I believe a miracle is something supernatural, as in it could not be done except by the obvious hand of God. That's my opinion. Now there may be those who will argue with me saying that the birth of a child is supernatural, it is the hand of God. Well, although God does breathe life, my husband and I were the ones responsible for the birth of these children. Ultimately, yes, all credit goes to God for everything. However, thre is a circle of life that God put into motion and it continues in motion b/c that is the way nature was intended to work. Childbirth is a continuation of that circle. Nothing really supernatural about it. Now, a lame man walking,a blind man seeing, or a dead man breathing, that is supernatutral, that is a miracle. Getting a month to live and then returning to the dr. to find all cancer gone, that is a miracle. |

I agree with you to a certain extent. I believe birth is a process of the circle of life, but when, for whatever reason, some of us are not allowed to participate in that cycle and have children the "normal" way, when it does happen, it is a miracle.
I have struggled with infertility and still have no children, so for me, when it happens, it will truly be a miracle !
So, I guess I would have to say a miracle is something that happens out of the ordinary. |

How is someone coming to Christ a miracle?
I thought miracles where healing the lame, blind, sick and raising the dead. |

I agree, often too many things are called miracles. Coming to Christ is not a miracle but a act of faith. Too many things are called miracles |

Doing fine, I check in from time to time.
Great News, a group including our pastor have been personally invited to meet with key people at Willowcreek in a few weeks. They really like what we are doing out here in southern california. |
