| My husband and I have been married for 2 1/2 years. We have a son (almost 18 months old) and we have 2 months left in our current pregnancy before our daughter is born. Over the weekend my husband told me that he is not 'in love' with me anymore and that our spark is gone. He is unsure that he wants to stay married and I feel like he has given up all hope. I have asked him to let us work on this with one another before he gives up hope but I am just not sure he believes it is worth it. I ask for prayer to help strengthen our marriage and bring us closer together and knock the devil and his evil out. |

I am really sorry to hear that this happened to you, especially when you are pregnant.
I will pray for healing in your marriage. |

I have lifted your marriage up in prayer and will continue to do so.
Something to discuss with your husband - how the "in love" feelings change in marriage. But, when that happens is when you depend on God to fill you with "his love" which is unconditional and never ending. Human love fails us, God's love does not. Also, to stay committed to marriage and to love is a choice - it is not a feeling.
Right now he is telling you how he feels - and he is on dangerous ground with those feelings. Perhaps it is time to meet with your pastor or a Christian counselor to sort out what is really going on.
In the meantime - may the Lord protect you, your marriage and your children. May He bring you peace, understanding and wisdom. May you rest in His assurance that He has not left you to walk through this alone.
Isaiah 41:13 -
I am holding you by your right hand - I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, "Do not be afraid. I am here to help you." |

| Thank you so much for your support and prayer. I have tried to just let things go this week and not bombard my husband with tons of questions to give him a little time to himself. This weekend I am hoping to be able to talk to him though. I have been praying but at times when I am praying it is as though I go into a daze as I forget my train of thought. I am not going to let the devil into my life as he has tempted my husband with these thoughts. |
