Danielle, I am curious, how is the counseling going? Jason and I skipped the counseling as our former pastor started it and never followed through. We are coming along well, praise God, but I wouldn't recommend missing out on the counseling to anybody planning on getting married.
What topics do you discuss? How is it going? Is it bringing up issues you haven't thought of? How is your bf taking it? Keep us informed... |

Hi Kelly,
Actually to update everyone, we have met with the pastor 2x to get some issues out on the table & discuss concerns and the reservations we have about marrying. But any official counseling will not begin until we decide to marry, I have been told.
We finished that 2nd session this week (last 4 hours, so we covered alot!), so now we are at the point where we are giving each other some time & some space to decide & pray on how we are to proceed. |
