Sam - I am not an amazing woman, but I am on fire for the Lord. I am of the view that God turns things intended for evil into actions for good - to fulfil his purposes (Gen 50:20).

How else would I be able to look on my husband with unconditional love despite his adultery and gratification through pornography? I have to tell you that my faith and hope is being rewarded. After the turning point on Tuesday, when the Lord gave me courage to confront the issues, my husband has started to repent. Having denied that counselling could take us forward, he is now admitting that our marriage is a priority and that we can't heal our relationship without appropriate assistance.

Please keep us both in your prayers. Thank you from a sister in Christ with renewed hope!

Yeah God!! He is so good and faithful to us.

Bless you sister for hanging in there under very difficult circumstances when many would walk away. Definitely not an easy journey to stand beside your husband.

Pornography is a really hard addiction to heal and needs to be dealt with separately from marital counseling. There is a wonderful ministry called Faithful and True Ministries that deals with sexual addictions specifically.

My husband and I had an opportunity to attend a seminar and hear Dr. Mark Laaser and his wife speak about their journey with sexual addiction. It was held through our church a few years ago. This couple has an unbelievable journey on their own, which makes them genuine and authentic in how they help others.
