Please Pray for my husband and I!

Hi all I'm new to the group. I thought I'd just ask for prayer in both my husband's and my life. We are facing some major decisions. My husband is in the service and is re-enlisting. We both agree on this. However, we actually get to choose where we want to be stationed for the next 4 years. We have been considering moving to the east coast far away from family, ect. Please pray that we make the best decision and that the Lord reveals His plan to us. Also, please pray that my husband and I grow TOGETHER in Christ. We have been going through ups and downs spiritually. I really feel that my husband hasn't been as close to God as he should be. Pray that he can become the spiritual leader that God has called all husbands to be in their marriages. Thanks so much! Razz

Lord, I lift this couple up to you in prayer for protection and guidance and wisdom frm you. Protect their marriage and help them daily to make it stronger.

Is there a reason you want to move away from family?

We are a fairly young couple without kids. We would like to travel to other places and live in new towns. As you may know, where you are stationed isn't always permanent. Also, if my husband chooses his duty station back east, he won't deploy for long amounts of time like he has been doing in the past. We have been without each other for years at a time. Enduring deployments has been a theme in our marriage. I suppose we would like to spend some real time together and not apart worried. Thanks for your prayers! Smile
