Making progress

I just wanted to thank everyone for the support and prayers. My husband and I are trying to work everything out. He has decided against the divorce. Sometimes it is hard to move forward because he acts like the past few months did not happen. I don't know how to explain it but it is frustrating at times. I can't just forget everything that was said and done and pretend. I want to address the issues and truly move forward. I am not trying to be negative because we are communicating. Please continue to pray that God begin to open both of our eyes and deal with the real issues and really work through them. Thank you for your prayers.

Sometimes we get stuck and just can't see our way out of the mud.
I pray that the Lord brings restoration to your marriage and a vision that surpasses your understanding of what marriage can be like. I also pray that you are seeking outside help, wisdom and guidance. I only know in my marriage, it's been essential to changing unhealthy patterns individually and in our relationship.

I read a book a little while ago called Experiencing Christ Together by Neil T. Anderson. It is fabulous and I would highly recommend it a book/study you do together. Also, I'm in the middle of reading a new book by Margaret Feinburg called The Organic God - it's a awesome and she asks the question in the book, "What do you love about Jesus?"
