Hi everyone- I am glad I found this forum!
I have been reading everyones post and I will also lift up everyone in prayer. We all know when one or more come together!

I have request for prayers.....please.
I WAS soooooo the frog in the pot story! Notice I said WAS. I had distant myself over time (years) from God. Recently my world seems to be in complete shambles. I needed to be completely broken down again to come back to God.
I need prayer warriors in agreement for God to work His Will.
Salvation and Healing for my husband who is clearly in serious crisis and refuses on any level to confront or address. Hence our marriage is under attack and escalating to harsher and seemingly unbearable levels of abuse. Alchol is his first issue, several Narcissist's personality disorders compounded by sex addiction.
I certainly need agreement in prayer for restoration of my faith, strength, direction, wisdom and peace. Heck you name it-think it; I need it in prayer. I truely refuse to trust that my husbands seriously deviant Narcissist behavior can't be healed by God. I am reading how this is NOT curable according to the world. He was not always or atleast I would like to believe he wasn't always sick.
Last but certainly not least protection for my son who is serving in Iraq.
Thank you
A

I have lifted all of you up in prayer this morning and will be happy to continue to do so.

I am so glad you are finding your way back to the Lord. Please put your eyes into the word of God everyday, even if it's only 5 minutes. It restores the soul. The easiest way I found for myself to do this was with a one year women's devotional bible. It gives you an old testament, new testament and proverbs and psalms scripture each day. It breaks up the bible and helped me to not get stuck in one place.

Play praise and worship music wherever you can. The house, the office, the car, the bathroom. There is some great stuff out there - just go to KLOVE.com and you can see all kinds of current, upbeat and contemporary praise and worship music. Fill you heart and your home with God's atmosphere instead of all the other noise around you.

Isaiah 41:13 -
I am holding you by your right hand - I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, "Do not be afraid. I am here to help you."

Hi Sam
I truely thank you for your obiedance to God and for your prayers. For being here and lifting everyone up.
I am trusting in all of Gods love and remind myself sometimes every moment not to be fearful or ugly back. I have dusted off the womans devotional bible that I purchased sometime ago. I find comfort and peace. I will check the website you mentioned.
I love the scripture you placed and actually can't stop from tearing as I just feel so blessed by those words.

I'm glad you found this forum too. People here seem to be really helpful and full of wisdom. I agree with SAM and will hold you up in prayer. I know that God can do miracles! He is faithful.
Numbers 6:26- "the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace."

Psalm 91:4- He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

Take refuge in His loving arms! I will be also in prayer for your son.
I myself am married to a man who can be quite cruel with his words. Its not easy to keep your hope up, but God can and will help his children who call on his name!
Keep the faith!
