Hello All,
I am not married and hope it is okay to post here. My boyfriend of 3 years and I broke up last November. Since then we have been seeing each other and calling each other. He recently told me he is dating someone else and I am heart broken. I don't really feel like there is someone else there, just that he needs time away from me for a while. When we are together or talk I feel his love so strong.
I have been reading Stormies "The Power of A Praying Woman's Bible" and have learned so much from it's teachings. I have used the teachings to help me change in my life and I have changed so much for the better. I have been praying to the Lord to soften his heart to give me another chance, but he feels like I cannot change. I have changed, I took him for granted because I was afraid of being hurt again, he was the perfect man, and I asked the Lord so long for him but was just so afraid of being hurt! Please pray for me and for the Lord to soften his heart and to give me peace during this time and let the Lord work, I really love him.
Thank you all for any prayers and taking the time to read this. |

Sure, we have many dating and engaged couples popping up here.
Glad you found GT. Welcome.
I have lifted you up in prayer for the following things -
1) That you seek God's will for this relationship, even if it doesn't mean marriage.
2) That you will find peace in your decisions
3) That you find your identity in Christ as a truly loved and cherished child
4) That if this man truly loves you, he will accept you as God designed you and not want you to change.
5) That sometimes God has other plans for you, and He will reveal to you what those plans may be.
6) That you can leave this be, not have anxiety over it or worry and that your heart can heal if things do not work out for God's glory.
7) That if God is sending you warning signs and signals to let this relationship go, you will clearly see them. |
