Okay, I have a safe question this time , is it unbiblical to burn incense in our homes as an air freshner type thing? I know many people who love the smell of incense, yet I also know some Christians who claim it is evil. Anybody have an opinion or related scriptures? |

Simple Answer - No, it is not evil
In fact there is a bible story which deals with the leftover meat from the animal sacrifices which were made to pagan gods. The early christian were asking, if it was all right to buy this meat and eat it.

Evil? That would be a new one on me.
Unless I need to be enlightened, as an air freshener, I do not see a problem.
If it were burnt as an offering, then I would ask why? |

Considering the shape my house is in, the rampant mess that comes from my natural disorganization, (and from me being in the final month of a job I'm FINALLY able to quit, praise God!)...
Considering the odors coming from my "potato bin", where the ghosts of two taters gone bad still haunt...
It is probably sinful of me NOT to run out and get me some incense right now! It would contribute to my husband's comfort when he gets home, to have a nice smell in the house from incense and open windows... :p  |
