Here's another update

So, we are still in the same place as before. She is going to counseling still and I have decided to let her contact me and not contact her (trying to figure out that whole I need my space thing) and ironically she has called me a few more times this past week than normal. She also invited me to eat lunch with her and her parents on Sunday.

We had a real heart to heart last Sunday and I told her I didnt feel she was working on our marriage and instead I thought she was only working on her. She told me that she was only doing the "counseling thing" to work on our marriage. While she isnt at home, she isnt saying she wants to divorce. My position hasnt and wont change. I am here for the "long haul." She was happy we talked and said that she wants to have another heart to heart soon.

On a positive note, it looks like she is trying to reconnect with some of her former Christian friends and might even be joining a women's Bible study.

Good to hear from you and thanks for letting us know how things are going. I'm grateful that she is still in contact with you and also initiating that throughout the week.

It must have been interesting to go to lunch with her parents knowing she is working through her stuff and apart from you right now.

I'm glad God continues to give you strength and wisdom through this. And... lots and lots of patience. Very Happy
