What is your favorite Bible verse(s) and why?
When I was going through the class for survivors of abuse, one added assignment was to find Bible verses that contridicted the lies that victims believe. When I am at a difficult spot, I turn to these verses. They are so uplifting. It was when I dug into the Bible and read His promises that I was saved and truely began to know God. So here are a few of my favorite:
John 8:36
Psalm 34:17-19
2 Corinthians 4:8-9
Psalm 55:17
Psalm 37:5
Genesis 50:20 |

| For many years my favorite passage was James 1:1-18. It still is my favorite but I've added one to it this past year - Galatians 5:22-23. |
