Hi,
This is my first time using this site. I am a born again christian and a single mom. I am wondering if anyone has some advice or suggestions on how I can schedule visits for my child and his father. My child will be starting school this September. He presently visits with his dad two days a week (eg. Thursday 10am overnight to Friday 7pm) and the next week he visits Tuesday 10am to 7pm and then again on Saturday 10am to Sunday 5pm. This schedule was implemented by a mediator (not christian) and then ordered by the court. I think this schedule is a bit excessive however, I believe it was allowed by the Lord for His divine purpose. I am hoping, praying and seeking wise counsel on how to go about a schedule that will accomodate all parties involved as fairly as posssible keeping my childs best interest and well being in the forefront. I am concerned that this present schedule might be too much for my child once he starts attending school. If this company offers any free consultations or anyone can guide me as where to go to help resolve this issue, please kindly respond. Thank you. |

You did not mention whether your child's father lives nearby. Maybe on those days, your child's father can pick him up from school. That way he can spend time with him. His father will have an opportunity to help with homework and eat dinner with him.
Or, you can ask for a change in days such as Friday and Saturday. That can give you a rest for two days, and allow your son to spend tme with his dad.
Hope all works well. |
