status quo most of the time. she still "thinks" she "needs" some time apart to figure herself out. She is still equating feelings with love.......in my mind nothing can change until she learns what real love and marriage look like. She is really confused and it comes out as frustration and anger, resentment and bitterness. I am constantly wanting to say something to her that will make her make a firm choice of what she wants but the truth is that I am not going anywhere so it is difficult to decide what to do.

Drawing that line in the sand usually backfires when wanting someone to make a firm choice. I will continue to pray for your patience in this situation, it has to be really hard on you. Are you continuing with any type of counseling for yourself?

I am continuing with my mentor/counselor. I know that the "line in the sand" is not the right way to go. Every week or two a little seed of bitterness or resentment gets planted in my mind by the enemy and, fortunately, God has enabled me to recognize the seed before it takes root. He is an amazing God and really is carrying this for me! I am not trying to carry it and have God carry me....I am letting Him carry the problems for me. What an amazing thing to watch! He is incredible.
Smile

Joy through sorrows.....what an amazing concept!
