I am so very proud of you for speaking the truth to your husband and being bold to not allow yourself to be used for his needs with no concern for yours. I am glad you decided to speak up and talk to him about Jesus. Keep telling him this is not what God wants for your marriage or for his life. Your commitment is a lifetime one and is not meant to be broken. Keep praying for him. If he left your house in tears, there is something that bothered his heart. Yes, we use the expression "crocodile tears" also.
As for the medicines, sometimes they are helpful for a time, but I would be concerned that you become dependent on them. Taking a time for rest and prayer can always be more helpful than any medicines you may take. If you have an opportunity for rest and prayer, that would be a wonderful thing.
God fully understands your pain, sadness and anxiety. He is walking right beside you every step of the way. Do not be fearful that you will disappoint Him. He trully understands your pain. Remember the pain He endured for us through his persecution from others and the cross? He understands everything you are going through and even more. |
