K-Love is broadcast in 50+ markets nationwide and was launched recently in the Chicago market.
If you are currently not a Christian radio listener or have been looking for some fresh, commercial-free, Christian music radio -- This might be it.

| I've been listening to it too. I love it. It's nice to have a Christian radio station that the kids want to listen to. |

All of a sudden the Chicago area is RICH in Christian music radio! :-) WYLL moves to AM 1160, "The Fish" moves to 106.7FM, and K-Love (94.3) comes to Chicago.
I love The Fish except for the fact that they seem to have very short playlists in any given period of a couple of days. I would hear the same song 3-4 times a day and I wasn't even listening all day! But if you wait a couple of days, they get a new bunch of songs to play! Does anyone know what their programming will be like after the first 40 days and 40 nights of Christian music? I had the impression that there will be some teaching programs too.
K-Love doesn't repeat songs as much and they have a GREAT website (klove.com) that has lists of all the songs they play - AND you can click on an icon and read the lyrics to the song - a great feature, in my opinion! K-Love seems to play stuff with a bit more "edge" than The Fish, from what I've gathered.
And I still really enjoy WMBI, which has great teaching and great music - the music is on the mellow side, but that's okay too! MidDay Connection is my absolute favorite radio program.
I'm looking forward to hearing some other opinions! |

Good radio... Actually, I've been listening more to 106.7FM... the old WYLL location. Personally, the programming sounds more cutting edge, more fresh.
