Sorry, I missed your post and have not responded sooner.

I'm not personally aware of something I can direct you to at this time, but allow me to do some research and get back with you.

Also, welcome to GT Community.

Thanks for your patience on this. I came across a National Stillbirth Society at www.stillnomore.org.
Also, a book written my Ann Douglas - "Trying Again: A Guide to Pregancy After Miscarriage, Stillbirth and Infant Loss.
Hope that helps. Also, maybe looking into a support group in your community would be helpful.

Yes Jim...our second son was born still on December 15, 2003 at 9:32pm. I am the Mommy and I'm looking for other sources of comfort. God is my first, but somtimes songs and books put my thoughts into words when I can't.

Thanks for getting back to me Sam...I've looked into the stillnomore groups...they want to make laws and do research so that the number of babies that are born still goes down...that would be nice. They also don't konw what causes it...as in my case it was quite obvious (rare birth defects), but in some cases after the autopsy they still don't know...

I guess I would be grateful to know why. In many instances you cannot find out the reason.

I hope the site helps. I have a friend I have also been trying to contact for you, but have been unable to reach hoping she may have some resources.

For closure, Sam. All of a sudden the thing you've been giving life to dies and no one can tell you the reason. It'll drive you crazy if you think about it long enough...

I have a little lost one in my past as well. Even the most loving friends and family can only do so much for you in your grief and the time of working through it. It simply takes time.

You may want to look up http://www.compassionatefriends.org/ .

Testifyer...Have you heard the song 'Visitor from Heaven' by Twila Paris? That's a great song for your situation. My heart goes out to you!
