I won't go into agonizing detail, mostly because this stuff that is bothering me right now wouldn't look very important to anyone else - sometimes we have a trouble uniquely our own - although of course the effects and feelings of different troubles we all share -
But I am facing the worst pit of regret/ depressed feelings/ anger at myself/ anger at others/ anger at life/ sadness/ feeling ineffectual/ feeling helpless!
It's the downest-in-the-dumps I've been in a loooong time.
Pray for me! Pray that I will lean on the Lord, that I will listen to Him and follow Him.
Pray that I will love my family as they deserve to be loved so that I may serve them as they deserve to be served.
Pray! Pray that whatever is oppressing me will lift.
"Take these shackles off my feet so I can dance", as the song goes --
"Lord I know You want to see
if I will hold on through these trials,
but I need You to lift this load
'cause I can't take it no more!"
I will definitely seek some professional help if this burden doesn't lighten up soon. |
