| About the age of five I met a little girl who lived around the corner from me. We became friends and it so happens she was in a born-again family. I began to go to church with her and her family and did so for years. I was saved at about the age of seven and I can still remember going up for that alter call! My family was a little bugged about it, but never discouraged me. About the age of fourteen I stopped going to church and took off on my own. I lived in the world for a while, then after being in a bad marraige with two kids at the age of 22, I was strongly called back to the Lord. I went back to church, prayed about my situation with my husband, and he left me (thank the Lord-I was free!). Within the same year as my divorce I met the most perfect man God could have prepared for me. We were married just last year, he's adopted my two kids, we had one together, and we're expecting another in September. He came from a Christian home as well, had been out in the world just as much, and when we met we both strapped down and dedicated our lives together to the Lord. We have already faced MANY trials, but have remained strong. We are growing in leaps and bounds every day... :inlove: Kelly. |
