okay, so i'm thinking its hormonal but who knows... my mom says its spiritual! ???

it seems that for the past few months i've had major mood swings. one moment happy go lucky the next ready to brawl in the street! my poor hubby doesn't know what to make of it...and he of course gets the brunt. to be fair, we've had a very stressful couple of years-- had a baby, moved, in ministry work, doing distance courses, only three years into marraige, yadi yadi yada... but it seems like its more. and i'm not sure if i'm being paranoid, or if i should talk to a doc., or if its just a normal life cycle?! i haven't felt this way since i turned 13!!!!! i guess it could be hormonal?!

anyway... ladies help me out if you've been through something of this nature?!

just takin' off the cyber mask a lil'!

Would it hurt to see a physician for, perhaps, blood tests to rule out the more common things, such as a thyroid or ovarian problem?

You must find a physician whom you can trust to "reveal all" to, my dear.

Would you believe I sometimes hope my thyroid is my problem?

A couple of years ago, I went through about an 18-month period where I swam at least three days a week, and I also had three aerobics classes a week, and I walked a few miles a couple days a week, and lifted weights a little... All the while watching my eating, to see it was balanced, etc., no strict calorie cut-down, just sensible, you know? I was not working a job all that time, so I had time to tuck some vigorous exercise into my schedule 6 days a week.

I felt marvelous, and my upper-body strength was wonderful, and I fit my clothes better, and my energy improved... but I stayed near 200 lbs. the whole time; I barely lost 20 lbs.

Dee-pressing. Sad

Well, I'm starting back this week with the "religious" walking, and I'm going to stick to a little mini-fast (for a few days only) as a jump-start. I've decided, so what if I stay fat? I want to go back to the better feeling (physical and mental) I had back then.
