Today @ church the pastor called the engage couples like four groups that will be getting marry in the next 6-9 months and said that the marriage counceling is going to be in a group.
Question: What do you feel about this idea?
Answers will be very helpful. |

ummm... i think there are pro's and con's to both...
a group setting can be a little intimidating, but at the same time you might find yourself opening up more... once you hear that they are facing the some of the same issues.
plus, i think its a great idea for you to be forming bonds with other newly wed couples... it will provide a good support base for the really early years of marraige! |

I believe the group setting will have many positives about it, especially if it is an actual discussion rather than lecture sessions.
You may still want to seek out couple - on - couple counseling with one or more mentor-worthy couples. Look for people who have what you want to develop. |
