I wanted to give an update. Last year I started really praying for my husband to understand my faith and that some day he would join me in my beliefs. When I got serious about praying for him, he started looking into buddasim...and things got difficult. I still had my faith, but as I still struggle with my past, my faith started to wane. Fast forward to January. I was to the point if I went to church...that was okay...if I didn't...that was okay. Didn't really care much either way. However, this one Sunday I went to church and was admiring all the married couples together at church. I felt cheated that I didn't have that kind of relationship with my husband. Said a prayer and asked God to change things....I knew I couldn't. I got home from church and my hubby had watched something about the Bible on TV that morning. He asked a lot of questions. That lead to a discussion and his interest grew. He's been attending church with me ever since! The last couple of weeks he's even said he looks forward to church now. Plus, he reads the Bible every night! I'm in shock but very happy! He still doesn't believe, but he's very close!!! So I wanted to pass along what I've learned.
It's not about what you do, it's about what you let God do. Giving up control is hard, but very worth it. When I gave up trying to convince my hubby and trusted God to take care of it..... then God was able to use me the most. |

That is wonderful news!
Amazing what happens when we relinquish control into God's hands.
I will keep praying for you! |

Thanks babycakes. I wanted to give you another quick update. My husband is SO close to recieving Christ! Sunday he stood up in church and admitted he is missing something. He doesn't reject God anymore, he's a seeker. |
