...about how you met her and won her hand. Or how he met you and won your hand, or maybe you won his hand. I put it in such gender biased terms because I'm a dude. Refer to my intro post if you would like insight into my situation. If there's already a thread where everybody told their stories, please give me a link.

We met in high school and dated for five years before we got married -

Some things that were important to us were -

1) having fun - bowling, go-carting, riding bikes, miniature golf, hanging out with friends, toboganning (hard to do in Vegas), skiing, going to his folk's boat on the river.
2) flowers (for me)
3) making crazy meals together
4) smoking french fries (not really, but we pretended Very Happy

) I guess you had to be there.
5) hanging out with the family
6) picnics - alone and with friends
7) camping - with friends

We became really good friends before we became lovers.
I think that's one thing that has made it last ... and Christ being very present in both of our lives.
