Prayer Request

My prayer request is for a renewal of my marriage. I have pushed my husband away with mistrust because of some real emotional hurts that I experienced as a child. I pray that my healing continues and I pray for strength to know what loving things I can do to restore his faith in me and our marriage. I also pray for him to find what he needs to strengthen him and heal the hurt in his heart. I pray ultimately for for our marriage to survive and become healthy as God wants us to be.

Lord, you know what this marriage needs each and every day so I ask that you provide this to them. Draw this couple close to you, help them to seek you earnestly every day, to put aside selfish desires, and to see that they need to become more like Jesus to each other in every way. Help their hearts to heal so that they can have a marriage that you have personally designed for them filled with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,goodness, faithfulness, gentlenes and self-control.
