Let me tell you a little about my wife. She is simply the most beautiful woman I have ever known, both inside and out. Her voice when she sings is the most inspiring thing I have ever heard. When we were married we both believed that we were brought together by god. It had to be because we lived almost 200 miles apart.
Recently though our marriage is being torn apart because I have been out of work for two and a half months now and the financial strain has effected every good aspect of our relationship. Also recently I have received some interest from employers but none in the area we live. And because of a divorce agreement involving our 2 year old she must stay in this area. And I know I would never be able to ask her to leave.
Our house payment is due tomorrow and neither one of us know what we will do. We have gone through a lot over the past three months but I don't know if we can weather the strain of this much longer. Seeing my wife this way and watching our marriage suffer has become almost to painful to watch.
So I ask if you would to say a prayer for work but also know by saying this prayer you are also praying for a marriage.

I work in the mortgage industry, so before you panic about your mortgage payment, check a couple of things out on your monthly mortgage statement. Most lenders do not charge any type of late charge until after the 15th of the month. So, you can make your payment through that date without any additional cost. If you need to make it after the 15th, then a late fee is usually charged. But, this still will not affect your credit rating as long as you make your payment prior to the last day of the month. In this case, if you have to, the best way to make your payment is by phone or by payment online because it posts immediately.
Sometimes calling your lender and letting them know your financial situation is better than not letting them know at all. They can often make arrangements with you under the circumstances. And - alway, always get a letter of confirmation from them on anything they have agreed to.
This way you always have the paperwork to back you up in case something ends up being reported incorrectly on your credit report.
Hope that helps in some small way - I have prayed for you and your wife and for a job. |

Couple Questions
-- Have you applied for unemployment?
-- Are you connected at a Church and/or Small Group? Those connections
might provide some assistance. |
