Hello,
We have been through so much gunk this year, well longer really, but Im not here to write a book, lol.
I have seen many changes in my husband, good ones actually. Howver things have gotten really bad for us financially. We have to sell our house, the market stinks, so we are praying for a fast sale! In the midst of this, the company my husband works for was just sold. We know what this means, its happened before. He will probably be out of a job at the end of this month. He has been looking for another job, but so far, no luck. WE are feeling the pressure badly. We have 6 kids still at home, and they like food. Food is good. ONly we don't have much. Electricity is good too, but ummm.....we may not have that soon either. I mean things are really bad. I'm trying to make light of it, because I have been crying pretty much all week. In addition to this, my dad was just diagnosed with two Aortal Anurysms. They are inoperable due to his frail size of 89lbs. The doctors seem to think he has about 6 months, if even, before one ruptures. That is death. I have been sad, and feeling pretty helpless about all this lately. I know that God is still God. And that things will eventually work out, but right now...................I don't see it, I don't seee how. I want a hero to come and rescue me and the kids, but they don't exsist, so this is it. I need God. I need God to bring down his kind hand and point us in the direction he has for us. I'm hoping its not so rocky anymore.
At least my dh isn't yelling, or being mean. I praise God for that.
I'd appreciate any prayers you may have for us. Oray for a job, a good job, and provision. Thank you |

Thank you~
We do have a very nice church. We are young church of just one year, but the people are wonderful people of God. They have helped us in some things. And I am so grateful for the help they have given. We are just in such a mess do to long term financial problems, I know that we just have to scratch what we have known as life and start over. Its just hard to do for a 45 yr old man. Not too many folks want to hire someone his age, unfortuantely. (I thought 40 was the new 30?) He is a mortgage lender, and as you can imagine that isn't doing well at all in this economy.
He's trying to get himself into another venue of business.
We are trying to get our house on the Market ASAP, but we ran into a problem with our current realtor. The contract is not a good one. They basically have us tied into the contract with them for 5 months, and another 45 days later if we sell our house after we leave them
Yes, that means that after we are able to cancel the contract, they still get their 6% for 45 more days should we find a buyer. We just can't sign that. If we don't sell within 90 days, our house goes into forclosure, and that means we get nothing from the sale, but the realtor will still get anything thats left over up 6%. I probably got too detailed. I'm sorry.
Anyway, thank you for praying for us. Pray that my children come out of this unscaved. This is turning our life upside down. Thank you. |
