| The last two months have been VERY hard. I have been in the hosp., husban told me on my big 50 that he dosen't love me and hasn't for a long time. Finances are at an all time low; and now we have to put another several hundred dollars out to fix it - second time in two months. I KNOW our LORD has everything under control - but I feel out of control and am fighting deep depression. I AM standing for my marriage and even though I am hurt and angry, I love my husband; please, please pray for us. |

I have prayed for you and your marriage this morning and will continue to do so.
I was once in this place in my marriage too, except it was me who no longer thought I loved my husband.
It took counseling to get us back on track. So please consider this, even if your husband will not go. But, it also took me to get back on track with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Christ was not first in my life - everything else was. Once I got things turned around, spent time with Christ daily, spent time in God's word daily and sought him with all my heart and soul - then my love for my husband returned. I had to get myself back on track and deal with my emotional and spiritual issues.
The majority of what I thought were issues between my husband and myself, weren't really there. It was more an issue of my heart condition because my relationship with God wasn't growing - it was in in reverse.
I have a few books I would like to recommend to you -
Every Man's Marriage by Stephen Arterburn
Every Woman's Marriage by Shannon Etheridge
Experiencing Christ Together by neil Anderson and Charles Mylander
I am holding you by your right hand - I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, 'Do not be afraid. I am here to help you." - Isaiah 41:13 |
