Hi, I'm Jen. My husband has been gone for about three months. He left before (about three years ago) for a couple months so this time has been a bit easier to go through as I "came back" to God through that whole ordeal and know this is part of His plan and will turn out for my/our good and His glory. I would appreciate your prayers for God's will in our lives.
We have a 5 year old son who is doing quite well with the situation so far. I do not believe he truly understands as my husband picks him up from preschool every day and is here on the weekends whenever he is not working so it is not much different (only not here in the mornings).
I have not given up on our marriage and do not intend to, but I have started looking for a house as I cannot see myself in "our" home if my husband is not here. Please pray for me that I will make the right decision in this area as well.
Lastly, my husband is far from God (this is my view, only he and God truly know) as he does not read the Bible, go to church, etc and feels no need to do so. The most important thing, even above our marriage, is for my husband to follow God. Prayer for him would also be appreciated. |
