If you don't mind a little former-pagan-holiday opportunity to "show ya loooove"!

We don't usually make a big deal out of it; the Romance level around here is not usually high.

There's something different today, though. Last night hubby and the grown kids ran off to WalMart really late. I went to bed. That's just not like him, to go out so late on a work night.

This morning when I got in the car pre-dawn to ride with him to work so I could keep the car for errands, I found a gorgeous scented realistic silk rose, and a beatiful card with wonderful sentiments ("the best is yet to come", sniffle), and a huge set of red-foil-wrapped chocolate lips. Hee.

Then when I came home I found a miniature potted red rosebush, and some exuberant sweet-scented scarlet tulips with electric blue hearts, and a heart-shaped chocolate dessert with pink buttercreme icing that says "Be Mine". (I don't know if it's brownie or fudge, haven't gotten into it. Yet.)

Oh, Lord, what have I done to deserve the man?
