I was so relieved to hear yesterday that they'd recovered the little Smart girl, I can't tell you! Praise God! Too often you never hear of the kids again, or else the poor family does get them back, but in a pine box  ...
Of course one wonders exactly what that idiot itenerant "preacher" was doing with her, why would he veil her & wig her... what did he need with such an old child, if he wanted her to be a child to him & his "wife"? (I don't know if they're married or not... she's supposedly his wife, the woman they caught with him & Elizabeth.)
Wandering around the Salt Lake area, not far from home... amazing. One wonders if he was trying to set up some sort of renegade pseudo-Mormon harem.
Anyway, I'm just sooo tickled for the family, glad she's back home. God is good! |
