It's almost 7:30 a.m., but the house is so peaceful this Sunday a.m. I'm reluctant to unleash the chaos.

Biscuits and strawberry preserves, and cold cereals with lots of dried fruit, for breakfast.

Beans in the pot for lunch, with onions and lean sausage and a handful of thyme, sage, various peppers, some salt... Mmm mmm good. No money this week for fun foods or after-church dinner out... but a few cents' worth of dried beans can be a great thing when you're sharing them with your loved ones.

Y'all have a great day today. I hope you get inspired by your time worshipping with the Lord's people today... even more importantly, though, I hope you inspire someone else through your presence there.

LOLOL!! And Janine if we did not have Pabellon Sunday!! Black Beans and rice!!

Are you and Sandi coordinating menus?

Sunday was also a very special service, Mordecai the bonzai visited and we discussed how churches can be treated like bonzai, how to limit their growth and create a quite unnatural miniature church.

There is a mean-spirited email going about, re: how to "create" a bonsai kitty.

You take a glass jar, and you seal the kitten's... outlet.

It goes downhill from there.

Mean!

But, that's how "bonsai churches" form, IMO.

They seal themselves off and brood over a lot of... waste... which they ought to allow to flow away.
