Hii! I just returned after over 5 years? God is good!

For those who are wondering what happened - here it is:
I actually rejected that 'this' was from God. When indeed, it was from God. The gentleman just married - the beginning of this year.

Did I hold on hope even when my heart declined to believe? Yes. It was something I really struggled with. What I have learnt, is to not despise revelations, and to discern the voice of God. Trust me - 5 years down the road - things have changed!

Unbelief can keep you from experiencing God's providence. If you read 2Kings 7. The man who declined to believe the word of God from Elisha, saw the blessing but did not partake.

Quote:

1 Elisha said, "Hear the word of the LORD. This is what the LORD says: About this time tomorrow, a seah [e] of flour will sell for a shekel [f] and two seahs [g] of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria."

2 The officer on whose arm the king was leaning said to the man of God, "Look, even if the LORD should open the floodgates of the heavens, could this happen?"
"You will see it with your own eyes," answered Elisha, "but you will not eat any of it!"

Quote:
The officer had said to the man of God, "Look, even if the LORD should open the floodgates of the heavens, could this happen?" The man of God had replied, "You will see it with your own eyes, but you will not eat any of it!" 20 And that is exactly what happened to him, for the people trampled him in the gateway, and he died.

(NIV - Biblegateway.com)

Remember even for Abraham - His faith was accounted to him in righteousness. Believe in God, believe also in Him - Jesus Christ.

I have also learnt, that it is not right to seek man's approval with the things of God. I don't mean posting stuff here - I mean asking others "Is this of God" ? Why? Because that can only be answered by God - who knows the heart of men. There is nothing that is hidden from Him. Amen.

I know when I stopped believing. I went to a christian man, whom I thought mature in prayer - and he said, no - this is not from God. I hungered for man's validation, instead of waiting - praying, listening, and I just became involved to try and 'get it started' - which was and is wrong.

I believe that many women receive words of knowledge - about people or men - in this case - whom to marry - before the man does. The bible is filled with women who believed. We have a heart to believe and to carry the vision of God.

So. If God is saying something to you today. Don't have a hard heart. Just pray - as the two prior posts have said. Prayer - answers to prayer are only provided in the throne room - in prayer and worship.

That is why the word says - the Spirit of God searches all things, and reveals what is hidden. Hey!!!

Trust in the Lord always - and lean not on your own UNDERSTANDING. In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will establish your paths!

I really did pray and repent about my hardness of heart. It has been a time of growth and yet challenge. It is better to trust in God - than to put one's trust in princess.

I have been praying about marriage also, and there is someone in the horizon, and it beautiful to know that God is not about first chances. What a wonder He is!

God bless you as you seek to know His will.
