Well, our anniversary is next tuesday and i have asked her to go and eat dinner with me (and she said she will let me know in a day or two). I would like to buy her a quick easy read that would relate to her situation. something that she could pick up and read without it being too cumbersome (she wont read it if it takes too long).

So, those of you who have been following my story......any suggestions?

Hi Dimwood -
I received a devotional a week ago called, " Daily Steps for God Chicks" by Holly Wagner and it's wonderful. It's only a 90 day devotional instead of your usually 360. Holly talks about her marriage and struggles with breast cancer, where God has taken her during difficult times and how she has learned to depend on Him as her lifeline.

As for something specific to her situation, she might not take it the way you want her to and become offended that you're telling her she needs to fix something - just a thought.
